Pumps and tanks

The installation of pumps and tanks provides a dependable water supply designed to meet the level of fire risk. Many water companies have been lowering their mains pressure to reduce leaks which can leave a sprinkler installation short of pressure. Therefore pumps and tanks are essential whether for high hazards and advisable for ordinary hazard's.

Pumps can be driven by diesel engine or electric motor and are installed with electric as duty and diesel as standby in the event of a power failure. Tanks can be rectangular or cylindrical, made from G.R.P. or galvanised steel, all with a 15 year maintenance free guarantee.
